Leader of the opposition calls for increased transparency in government’s commitments

Leader of the opposition in the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë Assembly, Sebastien Pillay, yesterday called on the executive to consult the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë Assembly, and the nation, prior to making commitments with other countries or international organisations, especially when these commitments could possibly impact on sovereignty and fundamental rights of citizens.
