Assembly to welcome new member next week |19 May 2021
In accordance with Article 81 (1) (h) (i) of the Constitution of ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë, Jany Letourdi will be swearing in as a new proportionately elected member for the Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS) party in the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë Assembly.
She replaces Hon. Clive Roucou.
Article 81 prescribes that a member may cease to be a member of the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë Assembly and that the seat occupied by that person shall become vacant, and in this case by the political party nominating another person to occupy the seat by informing the Speaker in writing.
Jany Letourdi will be swearing in on Tuesday May 25, 2021 at 0900hrs.
