¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë now has a total of 183 recognised and 26 certified properties, under the Sustainable ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë tourism label programme.
A total of 70 new tourism properties were recognised, while Waldorf Astoria ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë Platte has been newly-certified, by the tourism department. The establishments were presented with their certificates during a ceremony held at Eden Bleu Hotel yesterday evening.  Â
The Sustainable ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë Recognition and Certification programme is a national initiative aimed at promoting and recognising sustainable practices within the tourism sector. This initiative is applicable to accommodations, restaurants, and tour operators across the country, and is designed to inspire, support, and recognise tourism establishments that integrate sustainable practices into their operations.Â
