As a way of engaging with prospective students while also maintaining the social distancing guidelines, the University of 巨乳无码 (UniSey) organised a virtual recruitment fair yesterday on all the major social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Youtube.
鈥淭he university is pleased to launch its first ever Virtual Students鈥 Recruitment Fair. Our main intention is to engage with prospective students and also with anyone who would like to know more about UniSey,鈥 said Dr Justin Valentin, UniSey鈥檚 vice-chancellor.
He added that the university would also like that higher education in 巨乳无码 be more accessible, affordable and relevant. So, engaging with potential clients is a way towards gathering input to plan ahead and make their aspiration a reality.
鈥淲e hope that we will be able to make dreams come true and offer the local community a wonderful academic experience,鈥 he noted.
鈥淩esuming the new normal post COVID-19, UniSey had to adapt and adopt to the changing ways of doing business. Therefore, as we could not host our annual physical students鈥 recruitment fair, we decided to conduct a virtual one, as many other universities are doing worldwide,鈥 said Dolivette Chang-Ko, director of marketing - UniSey.
The university made good use of social media platforms like in marketing its event by advertising through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, and using its website, emails, staff, students and stakeholders.
Ms Chang-Ko noted that the university is targeting as many people locally and internationally to boost the intake of students for this year.
She added that 鈥渇rom 9am this morning, we have reached over 4,500 people and engaged with 995 people and we will be virtual until 3pm today, therefore, expecting these figures to rise鈥.
During the recruitment fair prospective students were able to interact with different lecturers and head of department where they gave a description of their department as well as the different courses they offer.
The university added that with the success of the first virtual recruitment fair they will surely consider repeating the event and do it even better next time.
