New IAEA pact backs national development

¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë has signed a new Country Programme Framework (CPF) with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for the period 2026-2031, strengthening cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear science and technology.
The agreement was signed yesterday afternoon by the Minister for Foreign Affairs & the Diaspora Barry Faure on behalf of the Government of ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë and IAEA director general Rafael Grossi on behalf of the agency from Vienna, Austria.
The signing took place virtually at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & the Diaspora.
