Restoring free beachfront fitness for the community
Enthusiasts of outdoor fitness can once again return to their familiar training spot at Beau Vallon, as the popular beachfront outdoor gym has officially reopened following renovation works carried out by the Community, Leisure and Sports for All unit within the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë Sports Council.
The reopening last Saturday has been warmly welcomed by residents and regular beachgoers who rely on the facility for free, accessible exercise in an open-air setting.
Located on the sands of Beau Vallon beach, directly in front of the Savoy ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë Resort & Spa, the outdoor gym has long been a popular meeting point for fitness enthusiasts of all ages. Its coastal position, while scenic and highly valued by users, has also exposed the equipment to salt, sand and sea air, leading to gradual erosion and the need for urgent maintenance over time.
