Last Sunday’s 91.3km circuit race organised by the l’Union Cycliste des ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë delivered an impressive display of endurance, teamwork and emerging young talent, as the nation’s top cyclists battled through 14 demanding laps around Cascade and Providence.
In a race marked by aggressive pacing and difficult conditions, young Vélo Club de l'Ouest (VCDL) riders Deveone Orredy and Jahdel Gabriel stole the spotlight with a dominant performance that underlined the club’s growing strength in local cycling.
The race began at Petit Paris before riders climbed through Cascade towards the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë International Airport, descended onto the Providence Highway and returned to Petit Paris to complete each lap.
