Inner islands students embrace ‘Outward Bound Adventure’ on Mahe

A new community-focused sports and education initiative has been launched to give schoolchildren from Praslin and La Digue the opportunity to experience Outward Bound-style activities in Mahe.
The programme, spearheaded by the Community Leisure and Sports for All unit within the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë Sports Council in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development, seeks to promote equal access to outdoor learning and sporting experiences across the inner islands.
The initiative is designed to ensure that children from Praslin and La Digue are afforded the same developmental opportunities as their peers in Mahe, particularly in areas such as outdoor education, physical activity, and experiential learning.Ìý
