The dancers raring to go
Eight dancers from the Odyssey Dance Studio are set to leave ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë this weekend for a cultural exchange and their first international Latin ballroom dance competition in South Africa.
The team, comprising seven young dancers and one adult dancer, as well as four Odyssey team members who will be accompanying them are due to leave the country tomorrow morning for the SADSA West Rand Dance Championships 2026 showdown on May 16.
Founder of the studio, Mandy Hoareau, explained that the competition will be the group’s first ever opportunity at international exposure, and is expected to help them further improve their skills.
