Through the passage of time and thanks to a small collection of old photos, Ismael Chaka provides us with a glimpse back in time of what it was like to have been a sporting legacy, first as a dedicated and talented striker in the Rangers’ Football Club, and then as an assistant coach to the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë national football team.
Looking back at our country’s sporting history, football was the main sporting activity in the 1970s and early 1980s.
Sadly, I understand that several of the sports photos that were being kept at the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë’s archives were either badly damaged or lost forever during the devastating tsunami that struck ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë in December 2004.Ìý
