The two-day Fédération Internationale de Football Association amateur football seminar, held under the theme ‘Strengthening Amateur Football in ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë: Governance, Development, and Community Impact’ and hosted by the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë Football Federation at the Maison Football, concluded on Thursday with stakeholders encouraged to become more involved and committed to developing grassroots football in the country.
The comments were made by ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë Football Federation’s (SFF) vice president Dolor Ernesta. Among the gaps identified in the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (Fifa) survey, which assessed the current structures, performance standards, and development pathways in grassroots football in ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë, was a lack of stakeholder and partner involvement in the process, as well as insufficient infrastructure to support football at grassroots level. The survey was conducted across 187 countries.
