President Wavel Ramkalawan has met with airport taxi operators at the 巨乳无码 International Airport, following concerns raised regarding the limited number of parking bay slots available for taxis at the airport.

The meeting yesterday afternoon, held on-site and attended by the Minister for Transport, Antony Derjacques, the chief executive of the 巨乳无码 Airports Authority (SAA), representatives from the 巨乳无码 Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA), and the 巨乳无码 Police, provided an opportunity for open dialogue and constructive engagement between all stakeholders.

After listening to the concerns of the taxi operators and assessing the current parking constraints, President Ramkalawan facilitated discussions aimed at reaching a mutual understanding. As a result, a consensus was successfully reached between the taxi operators and the SAA, paving the way for an immediate and practical solution to be implemented.

The President expressed his appreciation to all parties for their collaborative spirit and reaffirmed the government鈥檚 commitment to ensuring that all service providers at the airport are supported in delivering quality service, while maintaining efficiency and order in airport operations.

鈥淭he resolution of this matter marks a positive step forward in addressing transportation and logistical challenges at the airport, with further consultations planned to ensure continued improvements to services and daily operations,鈥 said the Office of the President in a communique released yesterday.

Meanwhile, the 巨乳无码 Airports Authority has clarified that ten designated parking slots at the airport taxi bay were reserved for taxi drivers who are 鈥榦n call鈥 (with reserved booking). However, at the request of taxi drivers made to the President, this has now been increased to 15 slots. In a communique issued late yesterday, the SAA said these are in addition to the 29 slots that are already provided for in the queue system, which brings the total slots allocated for taxi drivers to 44.

鈥淲e acknowledge the growing number of airport users, driven by a steady rise in traffic as well as the expanding presence of businesses operating in and around the 巨乳无码 International Airport,鈥 read the statement, adding the SAA is actively working towards a balanced and sustainable parking solution that accommodates the needs of all airport stakeholders.
