Team ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë let slipped a two-goal lead to lose their second group 3-4 to Guatemala at the Paradise Arena in the ongoing Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup 2025.
In the group A match, ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë took an early lead though Brandon Labrosse, before Remy De Ketelare double the lead to put the Paradise Boys 2-0 up.
Miguel Gonsalez then pulled one back for Guatemala (2-1), only for Terrence Amade to restore ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë’ two-goal lead (3-1).
Unfortunately for ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë, Gonsalez scored three more goals to give Guatemala a 4-3 victory, killing all ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë’ hope of progression in the competition, after losing their opening match to Belarus on Thursday.
¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë’ next match will be on Monday against Japan. Belarus are presently group leaders following two victories in as many matches played, followed by Japan who have so far registered a win and loss, similar to Guatemala who are third in the group, leaving hosts ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë at the bottom following two defeats.
